No matter what you’re feeling—joy, sadness, or something in between—the Quran has verses that speak directly to our hearts. In this blog, we're diving into those sacred surahs and matching them up with the emotions we all face day to day. So grab a cup of tea, make yourself comfortable, and let’s explore together how the Quran can be our companion and guide through all of life’s ups and downs.

You're feeling troubled by a situation:

So, surely with hardship comes ease. (Surah Ash-Sharh, 5)

You're saddened by what someone has said:

Do not let their words grieve you ˹O Prophet˺. Surely all honour and power belongs to Allah. He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (Surah Yunus, 65)

Your Iman is fluctuating:

O humanity! If you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then ˹know that˺ We did create you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then ˹developed you into˺ a clinging clot, then a lump of flesh4—fully formed or unformed5—in order to demonstrate ˹Our power˺ to you. (Surah Hajj, 5)

You're feeling anxious about something:

... and provide for them from sources they could never imagine. And whoever puts their trust in Allah, then He ˹alone˺ is sufficient for them. Certainly Allah achieves His Will. Allah has already set a destiny for everything. (Surah At-Talaq, 3)

You regret what you did in the past:

Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins.1 He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surah Az-Zumar, 53)
