New Mushaf Layouts Now Available on Tarteel AI
For years, one of the most requested features from our community has been the addition of NEW Mushaf layouts—and we’re thrilled to finally bring them to you, just in time for Ramadan! 🎉
At Tarteel, our mission is to help you deepen your connection with the Quran, whether through memorization, recitation, or reflection. And we know that for many of you, the Mushaf layout you use matters—it’s how you anchor ayahs in memory, follow Tajweed rules, and stay consistent in recitation.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce new Mushaf layouts, designed to match your learning style, regional preferences, and memorization habits. These layouts not only preserve the exact ayah placements you’re familiar with but also include Tajweed color coding, offering guidance to refine your recitation.
If you’ve ever struggled with switching between different layouts or hesitated mid-recitation due to unfamiliar page structures, this update is for you!
How the Right Mushaf Layout and Tajweed Colors Elevate Your Memorization
The visual layout of the Quran plays a critical role in memorization and fluency. If you’ve ever switched between different Mushafs, you’ve likely noticed how small differences in line breaks or page structure can disrupt your recall.
This is because our brains store information spatially. When you repeatedly recite an ayah, you unconsciously associate it with a specific position on the page. This technique, known as spatial memory, is why many memorizers stick to one Mushaf layout throughout their journey.
Alongside this, Tajweed color coding is a powerful tool for recitation. It provides visual cues for proper pronunciation, elongation, and articulation—ensuring your recitation is accurate, fluent, and effortless.
With these updates, Tarteel now offers a seamless Quran experience—whether you’re reading, memorizing, or perfecting your Tajweed.
Explore the New Mushaf Layouts
We’ve introduced two Mushaf layouts to align with your Quran reading habits:
Madani Mushaf (1421)
Best for: Those looking for improved readability without altering the familiar Madani layout
Why it helps: This edition features adjusted line breaks and ayah placements, making recitation smoother and easier on the eyes.
IndoPak Mushaf (Naskh)
Best for: Those who learned the IndoPak script, common in South Asia
Why it helps: If you studied in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or other regions using the IndoPak Mushaf or simply grew up reading with this style of mushaf in your household, this layout ensures a seamless transition between your physical Mushaf and Tarteel.
