Introducing Automatic Recitation and Memorization on Tarteel

Over the past few months, our team at Tarteel has been working on making this Ramadan special by making it easier to recite and memorize the Quran at the palms of your hand. Today, we’re announcing three big features for our mobile app. We’re adding automated recitation and memorization powered by Artificial Intelligence, along with the heavily requested feature of jumping from search results straight into the full Quran.
Automated Recitation:
We now allow you to get live matching of your Quran recitation powered by the latest Artificial Intelligence technologies. The algorithm follows you word by word and highlights the section that you’re reading. This is helpful when you’re reciting the Quran and want to get real-time cues for your position, and for following along with an Imam or an audio recording.
Automated Memorization:
We’re introducing a brand new memorization mode that makes it easier to review and practice your Quran memorization. We do so by hiding all the words that you haven’t recited yet, and unveiling them as you recite. This ensures that you don’t spoil your memorization and read a portion that you haven’t recited yet.
Instant Ayah Lookup:
Lastly, we added the ability to go from search results right into where that Ayah is found in the Quran.

What’s next for Tarteel?
We’ll be working on refining our algorithms to release Quran recitation correction. This will allow you to recite the Quran and get live feedback on your tajweed and recitation mistakes.
