The Acts Most Pleasing To Allah
'A'isha is reported to have said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked about the act most pleasing to Allah. He replied: That which is done continuously, even if it is small.
(Sahih Muslim, Book 6, Hadith 256)
This past Ramadan we posed a challenge to our community to Recite at least 70% of the Quran during the month of Ramadan using our platform and were amazed to see hundreds of success stories.
It's hard to believe but Ramadan is only a little over 6 months away! This year we want to make it super simple for you to create a Quran habit at your own pace that you are able to do continuously and maintain all year long. We've released a suite of new habit building features to accomplish that, and we also have several other exciting updates to share with you!
Habit Building
Many of us struggle to put aside time every day to read and reflect on the Quran. We get busy with our affairs and forget, and we feel as though we are so far from having the relationship we want with the blessed book of Allah SWT. This is why we built the "Challenges" feature!
Tarteel's new Challenges allow you to translate your intentions into achievable goals, set reminders for yourself, monitor your progress, and also unlock rewards to keep yourself motivated.
Whether your goal is to read for 10 minutes every day, recite Surah al-Kahf on Fridays, or even complete the entire Quran, Tarteel can help you track and achieve that.
Don't forget to set reminders and get notifications 📨.
Be sure to update your application to the newest version of Tarteel to test out the new Challenges feature and create a custom goal based on your specific needs for Free! Join fellow community members like Ihsaan and tweet us your custom challenges for this week, month or year! @tarteelAI
Sharing Recitations
We're not always with our instructors teaching us how to recite the Quran, but that doesn't mean we can't still get their feedback. We've added support for sharing your recitation directly from Tarteel.
Start reciting with the help of our AI as you normally would then head over to the Activity screen in the Progress tab. Now you'll be able to share unique links to your recitation sessions publicly to get feedback from your instructor or peers!
New Advisor
We're excited to announce Shaykh Umer Khan joining Tarteel as an Investor and an Advisor!
Shaykh Umer's technical expertise as VP of IT at SpaceX, and religious expertise as a licensed mufti will help ensure the Tarteel team is focused on serving the needs of Muslims with the Quran, executed with the best engineering practices inshaAllah.
The Future (InshaAllah)
The Tarteel team has a bold vision for the future of Islamic technology. One of the things we're sure you're excited about, and that many people have asked about supporting, is our work on building AI that can detect and correct recitation mistakes.
Alhamdullilah our team is continuing to make great progress towards achieving and delivering this goal, and inshaAllah we will achieve it.
In the meantime if you want to support us, the best way you can help is by:
- Making du'a for our team and our efforts
- Subscribing to Tarteel Premium
- Continuing to use Tarteel and sharing with us your feedback
We end this message with a reminder to everyone, ourselves first and foremost, to renew our intentions towards the Quran. May Allah SWT accept our efforts to grow closer to Him and His blessed words.
JAK,
The Tarteel Team
